Anna Nicole Smith film Hurricanna is in the works

Playboy cover girl and Guess pinup model Anna Nicole Smith will be the subject of a new movie.

The film is called Hurricanna and will cover the end of her life claimed she was not involved.  

The director is Francesca Gregorini from Killing Eve. She is the step daughter of Ringo Starr and her mother is actress Barbara Bach.

The script is from Rachel Sarnoff and Matt Sarnoff.

This new film Hurricanna is set at the end of Anna’s life when she was out of the limelight and taking drugs.

Her therapist, Khristine Eroshevich, was trying to help her by prescribing prescription drugs but then only made things worse.

The movie will zero in on the 36 hours before she died in Florida. She was found dead at age 39 in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as a result of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

According to Deadline, producers describe the project as exploring the ‘immense hurricane-like force that was Anna Nicole Smith, and the fateful string of events that led Anna to destroy everything in her path, including herself and those closest to her.’

Smith became famous as a nude model for Playboy then became a model for Guess. She also starred in movies such as Naked Gun 33 and Skyscraper. 

In 1994, she wed 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall. Many saw that as a move to gain his fortune.

When he died in 1995, she fought to get money out of his estate.   

Gilpin is best known for her work on the series GLOW. She has also starred in The Tomorrow War, The Hunt and A Dog’s Journey. 

Hunter is well known for The Piano, The Firm, Broadcast News, The Big Sick and Batman Vs Superman. She also starred in season two of Succession.
